This traditional flint cottage in the historic village of Sedgeford is all about character, charm and, most importantly, comfort. A fantastic family base, this homeliest of homes, boasts a front patio and enclosed back garden, perfect for giving both your kids and four-legged friends a run around. Featuring inimitable interiors which seamlessly blend old and new – think wooden floors and beautiful beamed sloping ceilings – this cosy cottage comprises a farmhouse style kitchen cum dining room, a wonderfully atmospheric living room complete with exposed brick fireplace and a lovely, light filled conservatory. In the summer months, you’ll love taking your morning coffee out into the garden, reading and relaxing in the sun, barbecuing a feast of fresh fish and getting stuck into an unbeatable bottle of rosé. At chillier times of year, you’ll love whipping up firm family favourites in the kitchen, gathering around the wooden dining table at mealtimes and cosying up with a good book in the conservatory. Indulge in a long hot soak in the roll top bath before chilling out on the sofa in the living room in front of the wood burning stove. Alternatively spend the day at one of two sensational sandy... beaches nearby, play a round of golf or get on your bike and pootle along the Peddars Way. Hunstanton, the only west-facing seaside resort on the east coast, known for its stunning sunsets, scenic sandy beaches and fun family attractions such as a SEA LIFE Centre is not far away, neither is Holkham Hall, with its woodlands and walled gardens. Whatever you do, you’re bound to fall in love with this stretch of Norfolk’s coastline.
