Located in a quiet residential street in Garajau, this modern home has fabulous Atlantic Ocean views from its balcony. It's our favourite spot here, along with the pretty, private garden – relax with a glass of wine and totally unwind. You can enjoy the vistas from the living room, too, with its potted plants, giving this place a homely vibe. Funchal is around a ten-minute drive away if you prefer to go exploring. The capital of Madeira has a backdrop of beautiful hills, creating an atmospheric setting. The city is known for its harbour, Funchal Cathedral, tropical gardens and Madeira wine cellars. Other attractions include the São Tiago Fortress, which was built in the early 17th century and now houses the Contemporary Art Museum.
