We love this bitesize apartment in the heart of Funchal and think it provides a great base for discovering all of the very best that this unique island has to offer. With a cool, modern decor accented with splashes of colour as well as lovely views over the town, this home certainly proves that small can most definitely be mighty. Start your day with an authentic Madeiran breakfast and your favourite brew as the gentle morning sunshine streams through the large windows. Then, it's off to see what the island has to offer. Situated behind the Funchal Municipal Garden, you'll find yourself ideally placed along one of the main arteries of the city. Take a short walk to the famous Municipal Theatre of Baltazar Dias. Or spend the day doing a spot of shopping along the city's leafy boulevards or stroll through the lovely Funchal Marina, perhaps stopping at one of the waterfront restaurants for a sampling of traditional Madeiran cuisine.
