Perched beside a turquoise-blue lagoon with the sand beneath your feet, we'd forgive you for thinking you'd landed on Caribbean shores. But this luxurious resort-style apartment complex is closer than you think – set back from the beaches of Estepona in sun-dappled Andalucia. Set within nine acres of exotic grounds, this newly-built complex has got rest and reset written all over it. Laze away the day bobbing about the freshwater lagoon stretching over a hectare wide (100 metres away) or beside the shared pools. Fancy upping the ante? Try watersports on the lagoon, wall climbing for the kids, a workout in the shared gym, or tee off from one of the eight golf courses nearby. When tummies rumble, grab a table at one of two on-site restaurants or jump in the car to blaze a trail down to Estepona Beach. The seafront chiringuitos serving the freshest seafood imaginable are an evening well spent. Back home at this south-facing apartment, everywhere feels fresh and inviting, with immaculate, contemporary interiors. But it's outside on that vast, sea-facing terrace where we think you'll spend most of your time. It's the perfect spot for alfresco morning coffees, champagne sundowners and everything else in between.
