If you do like to be beside the seaside, this home is rich with comfort and convenience. The living room is cosy and inviting, so put your feet up on the chaise sofa – a cosy nook to be enjoyed with a good book and in winter, the wood burner casting a warm glow into the room will have you never wanting to leave. In summer months, enjoy sundowners on the decking, a little secluded hub away from the vibrance of the town. Our favourite spot, if you need a little quiet time to yourself, is the deep bathtub. Sink into the bubbles with a glass of Prosecco in hand and you’ll feel your worries melt away. Head out of Whitby and you’ll uncover the beauty of the North York Moors National Park, but stay in the town itself and there’s so much to enjoy. Within a ten-minute stroll, you are met with an array of restaurants, boutique shops and quaint pubs to fill your days. If a day by the sea is on the agenda, immerse yourself in nostalgic seaside memories, playing in the arcades or strolling the sand and taking in the colourful huts lining West Cliff beach.

About Whitby

The ruins of Whitby Abbey, set atop a windy hill overlooking the town, are just like a scene from a gothic novel. When the sun sets, ghost tours amble through the cobbled streets, revealing the town’s dramatic history. By day it’s all idyllic fishing village vibes, with a hint of Victorian holidays.
