Couples, rejoice – this cosy cottage is the ideal romantic retreat. Nestled in the dramatic landscape of the Welsh countryside, the peaceful location makes for a wonderfully idyllic getaway. Throw in a bubbling hot tub and a sleek interior and you’re onto a winner. We love how the tall, vaulted ceilings and exposed stone brick walls blend with the home’s contemporary touches. It’s a great mix of traditional countryside charm with mod-cons aplenty – you can whip up dinner in the high-spec kitchen, choose a film to watch on Netflix, before getting snug in front of the crackling fire. If you’re not recuperating from the day’s hike on the sofa, we imagine you’ll be sinking into the warming hot tub with a glass of bubbly. With a view of the sprawling fields, it’s the perfect place to catch the sunset. There are plenty of countryside walks from your front door, as well as beautiful beaches to explore. But if you want a taste of a traditional Welsh town, head to Aberystwyth to explore its colourful promenade, seafront restaurants, and more – it’s just a ten-minute drive away.
