Set within the grounds of an 1830’s estate, this end-terrace stone cottage offers easy access to the unspoiled natural beauty of Northumberland. In fact, with the area's glorious beaches less than half a mile away and four-legged friends welcome to join you during your stay, this home makes for an ideal family-friendly retreat. The elegant simplicity of its interior means you're free to get on with the important business of spending quality time with loved ones. Comfortable leather sofas line the living room, with direct access to an enclosed courtyard garden via a set of French doors – perfect for a high tea in the summer sunshine. Elsewhere, a ground-floor guest room also benefits from direct outdoor access, while the two first-floor bedrooms have skylights to illuminate them throughout the day. Less than a mile to the south lies the vast horseshoe-shaped Beadnell Bay, while a little over five miles north is Bamburgh's imposing coastal castle, standing sentry over a sweep of golden beach. History buffs are sure to appreciate a visit to Bamburgh, while the beach at Beadnell offers a host of high-adrenaline watersports including kitesurfing and wakeboarding, as well as plenty of sand for fun-filled family days out.
