Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Found in a literary neighbourhood once home to many great Spanish writers, this apartment is perfect for writers looking for inspiration and anyone travelling for business. Tucked away in a building originally constructed in the 1880s, the home still focuses on copper and brass – and all of the original charm – by keeping its decorative approach pretty minimalistic. Though the kitchen is compact, you’ll be able to brew coffee and cobble together a light bite to enjoy alfresco out on the terrace. Set off afterwards to see the iconic sculpture of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree in Plaza del Sol – only minutes away – or visit the surrounding art museums. Spend evenings seeing a show at the historic Teatro Español and grab a drink before coming home and setting up your laptop at the dining table – it’s time to write a novel.
