This pad right in Chicago's South Loop puts the city at your fingertips. While foodies chow down at the many delicious restaurants on your doorstep, culture vultures can spend the afternoon roaming around the famous Field Museum and other nearby galleries. On summer days, pack a picnic and explore Grant Park right on the banks of Lake Michigan, a five-minute drive away. As far as neighbourhoods go, we think this one is pretty hard to beat. When you're not out exploring The Windy City, you'll find plenty back at home to keep you entertained. Get competitive with a game of ping-pong in the communal lounge, then step out onto the shared rooftop terrace with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the skyline. Following an afternoon of sightseeing, the bright and comfortable living area is a great place to unwind. There's a sleek kitchen if you fancy a home-cooked meal (although it'll be hard to resist a Chicago deep dish) and the three, equally stylish bedrooms beckon when you're ready to hit the hay.
