London is known to have some pretty unique homes, and this one is no different. Sprawling four floors of an attractive, Grade II listed Georgian terrace, you’ll find that this maisonette combines the original charm with quirky and modern elements to create something quite special. Think large floor-to-ceiling sash windows and decorative cornice ceilings with splashes of pink and plenty of curated detail that adds to the relaxing environment of this home. Enjoy cooking and eating meals in the farm-style kitchen, and slip out after breakfast to enjoy a cup of coffee with a good dose of fresh air and contemplation as you sit out on one of two rooftop terraces. When you're not reading in the living room – and let’s face it, those large windows are made for allowing ample light in – then you might be setting up the table football for a few overly competitive games. Enjoy each other's company over cheese and wine in the living room or when you're having sunset drinks out on the rooftop. Wander off to sample the local bars and restaurants and use the easily accessible public transport to take you to the Buckingham Palace gates to see the changing of the guard, or visit Camden Market for a bit of afternoon shopping.

Home truths

This home is spread over four floors, with no internal lift.

Parking in London can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible – though we think the best way to see the city is on foot.

You'll have your own private entrance here.

It's possible you might hear some noise from neighbours during your stay.

Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.

This is a lived-in home, so expect for some of the host's personal belongings to be present.

Toiletries aren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own.

A commuter's dream, Angel not only borders the north of London, but is also within walking distance of East London's Shoreditch, and borders King’s Cross...
