Give riverside living a whirl at this luxury apartment, perched beside Woodbridge's picturesque quay and Tide Mill. A great spot to discover the beauty of this historic market town, there are cafes, pubs, and restaurants just a five-minute walk away, and if you time it right, the traditional weekly Thursday market. And no visit here would be complete without a walk along the postcard-pretty River Deben – it runs right past your door. You might take an afternoon drive to the seaside town of Aldeburgh – the award-winning fish and chips are worth the trip alone. You can also visit the history-rich 12th-century castle in Framlingham. Back home, this immaculate apartment feels like a breath of fresh sea air to return to, with natural light flooding through the dual-aspect windows and balcony doors. Free-flowing and open-plan, cooking is a joy in the sleek, modern kitchen. And there's plenty of space in the sitting area to all curl up with a good book and a cuppa (and some goodies from the welcome hamper) after long waterfront walks. When the weather is fine, take drinks outside onto the balcony – it's a lovely setting to toast the day's end.
