This one is for those who enjoy long hikes as the trails of Zingaro nature reserve are on the doorstep and in fifteen minutes you can be on the beach. A long, winding road to the home ensures peace and quiet. There’s no need to concern yourself with walking trails when the view from the pool terrace is as good as this – taking in Sicily’s rugged coastline and the Tyrrhenian Sea. A summer kitchen is ideal for big meals outside at the table beneath the twisting olive tree. Inside, it’s a vision of old-world Sicily, with a cast-iron stove in the living room and exposed stone walls.
