Situated just a few steps from Galeries Lafayette – one of Europe’s most iconic department stores – this elegant apartment promises a sophisticated stay in the fashion capital of the world. Whether you’re here to shop ‘til you drop or you simply want to soak up the sights and sounds of the city, you can’t do much better than this place, which we found tucked away on the top floor of a beautiful Haussmann building in the heart of the 9th arrondissement. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the terrace, then head back into your simple but stylish bedroom to get dressed for the day. You’re within easy reach of all the major attractions here – Place de la Concorde is just a short metro ride away – but we wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to stay close to home and while away the day at one of the local bistros instead. Savour a glass of wine or two, then come back to your apartment and spend the rest of the evening unwinding with your fellow guests. Who said city breaks have to be stressful?
