This postcard-pretty cottage set in the heart of historic Windsor may have old bones (circa. 1880), but inside, the home has been lovingly renovated throughout for modern living. Free-flowing, white-washed spaces unite the ground floor. There's a sleek, contemporary kitchen to rustle up lazy brunches and a cosy sitting room with a velvet-clad sofa beckoning you to curl up. While upstairs in the eaves, the two bedrooms are as light-filled and serene as the next. When it’s time to soak up the grandeur of Windsor, the town centre is an easy fifteen-minute amble away for an afternoon mooching about the expensive boutiques, with pitstops at its grand cafes and bars along the way.
