Gaze out over the terracotta-tiled rooftops of San Marco towards the soaring bell tower and iconic domes of the basilica from your awe-inspiring top-floor terrace. Whether you're sipping that first coffee of the day as the city comes to life around you or luxuriating in a relaxing glass of red at sunset – it's an enviable spot to simply sit and take it all in. The apartment's main level is bright and open, a real rarity in Venice due to its tightly packed, narrow streets. It blends modern industrial-inspired design – think exposed steel beams and a metal-framed dining table – with Renaissance floral sofas to create a unique atmosphere. Elsewhere, the spiral steps will lead you to the second bedroom and the previously mentioned terrace. There's no denying the beauty of St Mark's Square – however, its peak season crowds can be a little much. Thanks to the apartment's proximity, you're free to wander relatively undisturbed, either first thing or at the end of the day, and make the most of that golden light for outstanding Instagram-worthy photos. Elsewhere, Venice highlights such as Rialto Bridge are little more than a five-minute walk away, and the nearby vaporetto stop places the rest of the city within easy reach.
