This pre-French Revolution apartment sits in one of the buzziest parts of Paris. The location couldn't be more central – head in one direction and you'll wind up at the famous Opera Garnier, stroll in another and you'll reach the banks of the River Seine. With the pretty Jardin des Tuileries only 500 metres away and the Louvre just a bit farther, you couldn't ask for a better spot to take in the sights and sounds of the French capital. When you're not exploring the museums, parks and cultural attractions on your doorstep, spend your downtime relaxing and unwinding in this smart studio flat. Between the wooden beams, arched window and exposed stone wall, it oozes old-world charm. Pull up a chair and enjoy a coffee by the Juliet balcony, get some work done at the desk, or snuggle up with a book on the plush velvet sofa. The small kitchenette is handy for rustling up light bites to nibble on. but with a huge collection of restaurants nearby, you'll have plenty of choices when it comes to wining and dining, Paris style.

Home truths
This is a studio apartment – the bed, living area and kitchen are all in the same space
At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed
The balcony is Juliet-style, so there's nowhere to sit outside – that said, you can pull up a chair and still take in the street views
The kitchenette is small, so we think it’s better suited to lighter bites than full meals
There's a small desk if you need to catch up on work during your stay
This home is in a central spot, so noise is to be expected
You won't need a car in Paris, and parking can be tricky – instead of driving, explore the city on foot or take advantage of the excellent public transport nearby

About Louvre - Palais Royal
Where to begin with one of Paris's most majestic and central districts? This was the stomping ground of historic kings, and now its grand palaces and squares are home to museums, galleries, government offices, and luxury shopping. With no fewer than three Royal palaces, the attractions are plentiful in this neck of the woods. If checking out the Mona Lisa with throngs of tourists isn't your thing, we recommend exploring some of the area's quieter hidden gems. Colonnes de Burennes has a gorgeous secret square and Alain Ducasse's world-famous French restaurant 'Le Meurice' is just around the corner.
