Nestled in the Ostuni countryside, surrounded by vast expanses of greenery, this traditional Trulli complex invites you to experience some of Italy's rich history. Inside you'll find cosy nooks carved out of ancient stone beneath the cones of the home's roof, a particular highlight being the living area with an open fireplace for ambient evenings curled up with a glass of wine. Step outside and you'll find a pretty courtyard complete with covered seating areas where you can savour your morning coffee while admiring the scenery around you. The curved swimming pool beautifully mimics the shapes of the Trulli and Lamie surrounding it, and provides a place to relax and cool off from the summer heat. While it would be easy to simply while away the days in the garden, we highly recommend making the 8km drive to the town of Ostuni, which you'll find at the top of a hill sitting high above the olive groves below. The historic centre is home to whitewashed buildings, Gothic cathedrals and a labyrinth of Medieval streets. Being on the Adriatic coast, there a beautiful beaches just 15km away, where you'll find white sand and azure ocean. When you get home after a... day of exploring, there's nothing like an outdoor shower to re-energise yourself before dinner. The outdoor kitchen and wood-fired oven provide the tools to whip up rustic Italian feasts, which are best enjoyed alfresco on the covered terrace while the sun sets over the estate.
