We can't imagine anybody out there who wouldn't want to wake up to uninterrupted views of the Ionian Sea and this villa half a kilometre from the Puglian coastline treats guests to that very blissful panorama. It makes for a quite wonderful backdrop as you go about making the most of the region's famously agreeable climate, whether that's cooling off in the infinity pool, enjoying dinner on the covered terrace or soaking up some rays on one of the loungers. Rather wisely, the home's interior doesn't attempt to compete with the beautiful view outside and the design is simple and fairly minimalist, if a little dated in some places. That being said, we're particularly fond of the bedroom located in the pajara, a circular stone structure that is traditional to the region. As well as the aforementioned proximity to the seaside, the town of Morciano di Leuca lies 3km in the opposite direction and the sumptuous beach resort of Santa Maria di Leuca is only a 7km journey away, too.
