Enjoying a panoramic position in the rolling Tuscan hills, this traditional villa is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Having undergone careful restoration, many of this home's original features are still intact, so you can expect terracotta floor tiles, vaulted ceilings and a working fireplace. Head up the stairs to the mezzanine level and you'll find a cosy living room beneath rustic wooden beams. Outside, you'll have your own private garden, complete with a pretty patio where you can sip coffee and enjoy a home-cooked breakfast. Spend the day chilling out by the infinity pool or jump in the car and head out to explore, the choice is yours. A trip to Montelupo Fiorentino is highly recommended. The Medieval hilltop town has an air of old-world ambiance, thanks to castles and churches that date back to the Middle Ages. Wander around the colourful streets lined with pastel-stuccoed buildings or pay a visit to the archeological museum to learn more about the area's rich past. When you get home after a busy day, fire up the barbecue and tuck into an alfresco feast on the patio. Be sure to pick up a bottle of local wine (Montelupo is known for its quality Chianti wine) and... then jump in the hot tub to relax and watch a spectacular Tuscan sunset.
