Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
If we asked you to imagine a rustic home in the middle of the Tuscan countryside at which you could happily while away a week or two, we'd be willing to wager that what you pictured looked something a little like this villa. Surrounded by verdant woodland and hillsides, the home is charmingly old-fashioned inside, with a wealth of wooden beams, terracotta tiling and stone walls all lending to the rural aesthetic. Don't confuse this with dilapidation, however – the country-style kitchen, bright bedrooms and sleek bathrooms will all meet approval from the discerning holidaymaker. Of course, it's likely that you'll be spending hours upon hours in the wonderful garden, which is filled with Mediterranean flowers and foliage. The swimming pool is sure to see plenty of visits during sunny afternoons, while the barbecue and table on the terrace are ready and waiting for open-air feasts under the setting sun. When you want to see a little more of the local area, the town of Anghiari is only six kilometres from the home, and known for its medieval architecture and month-long classical music festival held every July. The larger city of Arezzo lies a little bit further in the opposite direction, but well within reach for a day trip.
