Gather up your crew and run for the hills to this Balearics Finca, tucked away in the hillsides of San Carlos on the eastern coastline and just a short walk from the village. Meticulously renovated and oozing style, it’s no surprise an interior designer owns this intriguing home. Every nook and cranny is filled with old stone, heirloom-worthy antiques and artisanal art, while en-suite bathrooms and a newly fitted kitchen dial up the modern-day luxury. Sleeping twelve across the main house and three separate annexes (each boasting private en-suites and direct access to the gardens), this is the perfect haven for large groups of extended family and friends. And when it’s time to all get-together, spill out onto that oh-so-Ibicenco terrace that’s calling out for morning coffees, sundowners and everything else in between. Bobbing about your private pool, drinking up the knockout vistas of the tropical gardens and tiered hillsides beyond, you could feel a million miles from anywhere here. But when it’s time to chase the Balearic scene, you’re just a short flip-flop from the characterful village of San Carlos – think pretty tree-lined streets, pavement cafes, tapas bars and boho vibes (this place was once the hippy heart of the island). And when the sea comes calling, the powdery sands of nearby Santa Eulalia are a fine place to start.
