Built in 1870, this charming villa is a tasteful blend of historical features and contemporary comforts. Originally inhabited by a wealthy merchant and his family, there's an elegant flair to the interiors and a sense of understated grandeur, thanks to vintage furniture, exposed ceiling beams and a working fireplace. Outside, you'll find a private pool surrounded by lush greenery and manicured lawns, where you can take a refreshing dip then perch on a sun lounger to admire the Ionian Sea for a while. While it would be easy to spend the whole day at home, we highly recommend exploring the local area. You'll be within an easy distance of Corfu town, a UNESCO heritage site where you'll find cobblestone streets, pastel-coloured buildings and the Venetian-built New Fortress. Spend a few hours strolling along the narrow lanes and trying some of the local cuisine. Speaking of food, the outdoor dining area comes complete with a barbecue, making meal times a dream. Eat alfresco while the sun sets over the distant mountains, washed down with a cocktail or two.
