Just outside the city of Chania among the hilly green landscape, this magnificent villa showcases the very best of contemporary architecture. A striking structure made with steel, wood and glass, this home spans five semi-levels, creating plenty of cosy spots where you can enjoy some privacy as well as quality time with friends. Outside, the garden boasts towering palm trees and lush lawns, plus an almond-shaped pool that offers beautiful sea views. Begin the day with a cup of coffee in the shade after a dip in the refreshing water before you head out to see what Chania has to offer. If you fancy some sea and sand, you're in the right place, as the area is home to some of Crete's best beaches. Agii Apostoli is close by, where you can lie on the golden shores and swim in the azure Mediterranean Sea. The old town is also well worth a visit – the narrow alleyways and cobbled streets lined with bougainvillea are a sight to behold. When you get home, fire up the barbecue that sits beneath the ancient olive tree and have a go at creating some local delicacies, or sit back and relax while a private chef serves up some authentic Greek cuisine. The dining terrace is an idyllic place to enjoy alfresco family meals, washed down with a chilled bottle of wine. Round off a lovely evening with long soak in the Jacuzzi bath, or a few games of pool, or simply get comfy on the balcony to watch the sun set over the town and surrounding mountains.
