It's a picturesque spot, whatever the time of day. Stepping inside this sophisticated home, you'll love the light-filled, uplifting feel of the space, and there's no need to tussle for the best bedroom here. Both rooms are as elegant as the next, offering separate bathrooms and direct access to the sun-kissed terraces outside. When it's time for a dose of sea air, you couldn't dream up a better location. One of the city's most beloved beaches with a magnificent natural swimming pool (cameras at the ready, folks) is just a short flip-flop away. Then take a mosey along the promenade – a sunny spot at a seafront bar is waiting just for you to toast the day's end over sundowners. Or hop in the car bound for Funchal's centre (a five-minute drive) to keep the night flowing with Fado music and Poncha cocktails in the happening Zona Velha neighbourhood – it's just like you imagined, only better.
