As beautiful views go, this is one of the best we’ve seen. The spell-binding Lake Como is the backdrop of this stone brick villa, which commands attention from both the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but it’s completely serene – here, you can totally unwind, melting away any thoughts of daily life under the Italian sun. Cloaked in bright whites, oranges, terracotta, and wooden touches, the interior is a joy. Perfectly complementing the exterior, it’s clear that a lot of care went into styling this home. Perhaps most importantly, every room takes full advantage of the natural surroundings – whether you’re preparing food in the kitchen, relaxing in the bathtub, or savouring your morning coffee from bed, the views will follow. The interior might be gorgeous, but the best place to soak up the surroundings is in the garden. The little ones will love running around the soft grass, playing hide and seek behind the trees, while the grown-ups can spend blissful hours dipping in and out of the pool. When sunset rolls around, the place to be is in your jacuzzi, looking out at the vista. There are few places more atmospheric than Lake Como at dusk. Let a private chef wow you with local dishes while you relax around the outdoor dining table, watching the lights shimmer on the lake as night settles.
