Spend your days lolling about in the garden, dashing between the swimming pool to the lounge chairs and back again. Need a break from the rays? Stretch out on the leather sofas for a quick snooze in the living area, then wake up to the smell of piri-piri chicken sizzling on the barbecue. As the night slowly rolls in, gather the whole brood together and dine alfresco on the covered terrace, keeping the conversation (and the local wine) flowing well into the night. The two single beds can be added upon request – these are what the ninth and tenth guests (ideally children) will be sleeping on
There's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here for those with limited mobility
Renting a car isn't necessary as amenities are within walking distance – that said, we think a car would be handy for adventures further afield
Most beaches in the Algarve are small coves surrounded by cliffs – they don't have huge expanses of sand and the water can be quite cold

The pool isn't fenced, so children will need to be supervised at all times
