Located in a prestigious part of Funchal, this villa first opened its doors in 1882. You'll find this history reflected in its classical charm. You and your guests will feast like Lords and Ladies around the dining room, surrounded by well-appointed furniture and period paintings that adorn the walls. In stark contrast, the home comes with a modern kitchen, allowing the cook amongst your group to rustle up something special with ease. Upstairs you’ll find the bedrooms, each with period pieces that’ll send you back to a bygone age (but with much more comfortable beds). As an added bonus, each of the rooms provides a view of the bay. Although you’ll likely want a car if you’re looking to explore further into Madeira, this home is conveniently located near shops, supermarkets, bars, theatres, a casino and Santa Catarina Park (with its bay view, it’s perfect for scenic picnics).
