Less than ten minutes on foot from the coast, this apartment is as central as they come. Drop your bags and head straight for Bograshov Beach, the perfect spot for sunbathing and swimming in the Med. Don't fancy the seaside? Wander over to the famous Carmel Market and get a taste of authentic Tel Aviv living – it's about a fifteen-minute walk away. Between the bevvy of eateries, coffee shops and cultural attractions in this neighbourhood, you'll never have a dull day. On the rare occasions you aren't out exploring, this stylish pad calls for some much-needed downtime. Relax on the sofa with a refreshing limonana (mint lemonade) or catch up on work at the desk in the bedroom. Come dinnertime, let your culinary skills run wild and whip up national favourites like Israeli salad and kugel in the shiny kitchen. Tuck in around the dining table as the setting sun bathes the entire room in its bronze glow. Later on, tummies full and feet aching, climb into the cosy beds for a good night's sleep – with lively Tel Aviv on your doorstep, you'll need all the energy you can get.

Local guide

About Kerem Hateimanim

Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
