About Hackney
Hackney – the name of this neighbourhood is now more likely to evoke the image of a hipster on a bicycle with a sourdough loaf stuffed in their satchel rather than anything else. Filled with great independent restaurants, cafes and pubs, this part of town is a delight to explore. As well as having run Hackney Homemade Market and Hackney Heart Cafe, Jane has written many books about worldwide destinations and has a magazine, Eat Drink Travel. Having travelled solo a lot, she knows the importance of a safe, happy, friendly place in which to stay and hopes she can offer that and so much more to guests visiting her lovely home.
