This studio is perfect for a leisure or business trip to wonderful Porto. Recently renovated, the historical character has been maintained whilst providing 21st-century comforts. In the past, the building was a traditional pharmacy, so the pharmacy's name on the façade has been retained – we love the attention to detail here. The highlight of this home, though, for us, is the beautifully tiled terrace – enjoy a glass of wine here on warm days. Through patio doors, you'll find the living space with its mellow-hued exposed stone walls and the comfy bedroom beyond the handy storage wall. Located on the south side of the historic centre of Porto, in Vila Nova de Gaia, there are plenty of attractions to explore, such as the Cais de Gaia, the pedestrian promenade on the Douro River. Or have a tour of the Port Wine Cellars, two minutes on foot, while the iconic D. Luís I Bridge is a five-minute walk. You'll also have restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, and the local tourist office within two minutes' walking distance of this apartment.
