Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Whether you're looking to celebrate a milestone birthday with a group of your closest friends, or a countryside escape with your extended family, this spectacular stone villa is the answer you've been looking for. Set in the beautiful Istrian countryside, just outside the peaceful village of Kringa and a short drive from the popular coastal resort of Poreč, the villa boasts charming period features – such as wood beam ceilings and exquisite stone archways – and adds mod cons and contemporary design in a harmonious blend of old and new. In addition to looking beautiful, the arches serve a double purpose of breaking up the semi-open-plan layout and providing some separation between the spaces. Step outside and sip your morning coffee on the first-floor bedroom balcony and take in the view, or head out onto the terrace to stretch out on a sun lounger by the pool. Then, with the mercury rising, take shelter in the summer kitchen and enjoy a bite to eat as you look out over the shimmering water. If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic setting, we recommend visiting the Istrian Riviera. The pretty streets and historical sites are well worth a wander around before boarding a high-speed catamaran for a day trip to the iconic city of Venice, approximately three hours away.

About Istria

Croatia’s northern peninsula, jutting out into the cool blue of the Adriatic Sea, has been a traveller favourite for decades. The region’s capital, Pula, is home to an ancient Roman amphitheatre, as well as family-run restaurants serving rustic fare from the hillside farmsteads around Istria and delicious local wines from the region’s vineyards. The coast is dotted with swimming platforms and rocky outcrops to stretch out on after a dip...

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
