There's nothing quite like a sea view, and this laid-back villa has scenery in spades. Perched on a cliff above the Adriatic, you can relax and enjoy the panoramas from either the sunny terrace, private pool, or main bedroom's balcony. While the modest interiors aren't as show-stopping – the kitchen is rather tiny, truth be told – we still think it makes for a lovely getaway for families and friends. It's also in a great location. A two-minute stroll lies a pebbled beach (although you'll need to climb down the cliffside path to reach it) and Vrbnik's shops and restaurants are about 300 metres away.

There's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here ideal for guests with limited mobility – it also has direct access to the terrace

The garden is mostly terraced, so while there's no grassy lawn, there's plenty of outdoor dining space
