Offering riverside views, high-end interiors and a magically romantic setting in the heart of Castillon-la-Bataille – this space is really quite remarkable. From the offset, it is clear that the owner, who once ran a boutique hotel in Bordeaux, has a natural flare for helping a home reach its full potential. As both stylish and high-quality interiors present a majestic home, which accentuates its 16th-century original features. We particularly love the arched window in the state-of-the-art kitchen and dining room, which frames the river views and allows the warm breeze to flow through the home with elegance. Step outside to discover the garden's little corner of paradise, where you'll find palm trees, roses and a freshwater well near the river's edge. Outside, al-fresco meals and barbecues can be enjoyed in the upper terrace garden or, of course, indoors on days when the weather is less kind. Overlooking the Dordogne and within walking distance of Castillon-la-Bataille's authentic French restaurants, impeccable food shops and the charming weekly market, you'll also be just 12 kilometres away from Saint-Émilion – a must-see for wine enthusiasts and its world-famous vineyards. With many other local market towns within easy reach and the city of Bordeaux accessible... for a day out either by train or car, your prospects from this romantic spot are truly limitless.
