Overlooking Squero San Trovaso, one of the last remaining gondola builders left in Venice, this conveniently located Dorsoduro apartment offers easy access to the many excellent museums, galleries and churches of Venice but a fraction of the crowds you'll encounter in San Marco. However, when you want to explore further afield, you'll find the nearest vaporetto stop 100m away, while the padlock-covered Ponte dell'Accademia is just five minutes on foot. The historic wood and metal bridge is your gateway to the San Marco district's many iconic sights. The interior is a triumph of form and function, with stylish contemporary furnishings sitting in an open living space beneath an original exposed beam ceiling. Two large windows ensure plenty of natural light and views over the terracotta-tiled roofs of the Dorsoduro neighbourhood.
