The size is perfect for a couple – and with a private suntrap terrace and some characterful period features inside, we’ll forgive the slightly dated interiors. Make for the sands of Swanage Beach and the pier (less than half a mile from your door) for a hefty dose of seaside nostalgia. And when thoughts turn to food, there are plenty of bustling cafes and restaurants dotted along the high street.
