Character abounds at this cosy cottage. It's old-world in every sense, but that's why we adore it – although the compact spaces and lack of natural light won't appeal to everyone. Children will have fun-filled afternoons playing in the games room, while the small patio will be a big hit in the summer. Pets are welcome to tag along, too – there's even a dog-friendly pub down the road ideal for a pint and hearty lunch after a walk through the hills. It's situated in Avon Dassett, a charming village on the edge of the Cotswolds. Alongside the area's chocolate-box hamlets, you'll also be well-placed to explore Banbury, Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon.
