Part of an intimate collection of ten-holiday cottages, you’ll share the wider grounds, but that enclosed garden with a hot tub to drink in the knockout views of the surrounding fells and reservoir are all yours. Inside, the cottage interiors speak for themselves, with wood stacked by the fire ready for cosy nights after bracing walks. The complimentary access to the gym and swimming pool of a nearby hotel in Wetheral is a bonus. And Castle Carrock’s village pub is a five-minute drive or longer walk for an easy bite to eat.
