Inside, the newly renovated interiors of this former barn are charming, with a romantic galleried en suite bedroom and obligatory wood-burning fire for cosy nights in. As an added bonus, you'll have complimentary access to the gym and swimming pool of a nearby hotel in Wetheral. And Castle Carrock’s village pub is just a five-minute drive away (or a longer walk) if you don't fancy cooking.
