This grand Victorian home in south Edinburgh provides plenty of space – ideal for families heading to Scotland's capital. While things might get tight if the children's room is fully occupied, having three bathrooms will be a saviour in the mornings. The high ceilings add to the sense of space here, and the large windows allow plenty of light. We like the garden and play house too, giving parents some peace as the kids tire themselves out. The home is also well-located – being less than a few kilometres from central Edinburgh's main attractions, it's perfect for urban explorers.
