Located in Ealing, an upscale London neighbourhood with tons of great bars, restaurants, and shops, this recently refurbished apartment makes for a good base from which to explore the city. The home is just a few minutes walk to the nearest Tube station, and it will take you around forty minutes to get into central London. While you won’t find it on the front cover of Wallpaper anytime soon, the apartment itself is modern and basic with a new kitchen, strong Wi-Fi connection, and plenty of light.

Local guide
About Ealing
Dubbed ‘Queen of the Suburbs’ in the 1880s, on account of the way that Ealing straddled the border between city and country and provided a semi rural retreat for wealthy Londoners. Ealing locals have been careful to retain this village feel and it survives as a friendly place with lots of independent cafes, shops and restaurants. Paperback Coffee & Tea has become a community hub and is also the place...

Indulge in Exquisite Japanese Desserts at WA Cafe
Quaint, modern Japanese patisserie offering artisanal light fare, heavenly cakes, premium teas, and coffee. A treat for dessert lovers seeking exquisite creations at great prices.
Explore Open Ealing
A wonderful space with a cute cafe, Open Ealing is an art gallery that offers life drawing classes, performances, and a welcoming atmosphere for local artists to network.
Take a stroll through Walpole Park
One of the little hidden gems of this area. Walpole park isn't a huge green space but makes for a lovely afternoon in the sun. Especially if you take a spot beside the lake and 200 year old bridge.
Squeeze in to Santa Maria
One of the smallest restaurants i've ever seen, maybe because it is always full, but Santa Maria is a tiny pizzeria that sits next to the great watering hole Red Lion. Great for an after-show meal.
Dine at Franco Manca Ealing
Experience authentic thin crust pizzas and a delicious grazing board at this friendly restaurant. Enjoy the phenomenal service from waiters Luca and Zara, and don't miss Lazlo's perfect cappuccino. A must-visit for pizza lovers in Ealing!
Eat clean at Farm W5
Fresh and healthy organic bites & brews like roasted veg and aubergine yoghurt wraps and fresh honey and cinnamon tea. And their seeded nutty chocolate balls are divine.
Eat, drink and be merry at the Red Lion
Lively BBQs in summer, superb Sunday roasts in winter and a full English served on a stick for brekkie. This is a traditional English pub with a difference.
Stop for top notch coffee at Artisan
Producing delicious coffee with scientific precision, Artisan has a bustling atmosphere with loud tunes and walls covered with art work that changes every few months. A treat for all the senses.
Hop on the bus to shop at Ealing Broadway
With tons of big name stores as well as smaller more niche shops, this shopping centre has pretty much anything a visitor to Ealing could need.
Explore Ealing Common Park
Ealing Common is a gorgeous city park with a rich history, perfect for picnics, dog walking, and exploring. Discover the WW2 bomb trench and enjoy the lovely flower meadow.
