Planted on Portsea Island in Portsmouth's Old Town, this home captures the city's maritime heritage while having a few quirks too. It stands out from the pack with its science-fiction kitchen (used in a Thunderbirds film), and its lap pool – a perfect place to blow off steam. You'll also find pleasant sea views from the dining and living areas, although there is a little obstruction from nearby buildings. When you fancy a stroll, the excellent location means you can explore a variety of nearby historical buildings.
