Located in Kapparis – just 250 metres from the sea and a short stroll from the resort centre with its array of shops, restaurants and bars – this villa is ideal for those who don’t wish to rely on a car. Inside, the decor is a little generic in places and one of the bedrooms is overlooked by the building opposite. But we reckon you’ll be spending most of your time outside, where a garden and swimming pool area – surrounded by palms and colourful Mediterranean plants – invites sunbathing in the Cypriot sun and ample alfresco dining. For a real treat, climb the winding external staircase to the roof terrace for stunning views over the fields and sea at sunset.

Home truths
This home is laid out over two floors with internal stairs. All bedrooms are on the upper floor, so it may not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
Your host can provide a complimentary cot and high chair – this must be requested at the time of booking, and you’ll need to bring your own cot linen.
One of the bedrooms is somewhat overlooked by the building opposite. There's a chance you might see a neighbour or two through the window, so it doesn't feel completely private. Another one of the bedrooms only has a narrow letterbox-style window, so lacks the natural light that the other bedrooms have.
While a car isn't strictly necessary here given the home's proximity to the resort, on-road parking is available.
