Just outside Skala and sitting above a charming fishing harbour is this traditional Kefalonian villa. There are opportunities for rockpooling and swimming off the rocky bay beneath, whilst the finer sands of Skala Beach are just 1.2km away (we suggest driving in the warmer season). The villa itself has all the mod cons you need, though some parts feel slightly dated in style. With a large terrace overlooking the Ionian, an alfresco dining area and a pool, we think you’re all set for a memorable stay on Greece’s largest Ionian island.

We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
There are eight steps down to the front door from the parking area, but the owner has provided a ramp with a handrail for those who can’t manage the steps and for easy luggage access. There are also stairs from the lounge entrance down to the kitchen area and the outside terrace. Please request more details if one of your guests has limited mobility.
We think some areas of this home could do with a refresh. In particular, the bathrooms look a little dated.
Your host can provide a complimentary cot and high chair – this must be requested at the time of booking, and you’ll need to bring your own cot linen. Please supervise little ones around the pool.
