With its wood-burning fire, window seats and pretty walled garden, this 19th-century townhouse in Tetbury delivers all the Cotswold's charm. Tucked away along a quiet, no-through lane, there are beautiful walks on the doorstep. Or for a little more bustle, Tetbury's wander-worthy centre, with its iconic antique shops, restaurants and cafes, is just a stroll away. Perfect for a multi-generational family stay, alongside two double bedrooms, there's a single bedroom that's ideal for a child or single grandparent. It's worth noting a home of this heritage does have its quirks. Expect steep staircases, low beams in places and a compact kitchen. But that's all part and parcel of characterful cottage living.

This home is set out across three floors, with a steep and curving staircase. Be prepared to climb some stairs. There are also steep steps to access some areas of the terraced garden.
The main bedroom is short on floorspace, and the bedroom door must be shut to gain access to the left-hand side of the bed.
The top floor bedrooms have low beams, potentially making them unsuitable for very tall guests.
This home is short on wardrobe space, so we'd recommend packing light.
A cot and highchair are provided for little ones.
