It's hard to believe that this pop art pad is smack dab in the centre of Milan. Not only is there plenty of space inside to spread out and get comfortable, but the outdoor terrace is truly something special. We loved sitting out there with an espresso in the morning sun and finishing off the evening with a glass of wine as the city goes to sleep. The interior is just as impressive, with bold colours and huge windows that flood the space with natural light. And the best surprise of all is the view of the Duomo from the second bedroom – there's nothing quite like waking up to that in the morning. Its position between the Duomo and the Torre Velasca is the perfect spot from which to roam the city (particularly when the construction works across the street are done). You're a four-minute walk from the Duomo, six from Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and surrounded by cafes, shops and restaurants. And although the liveliest nightlife is in other parts of the city, it's all reachable on foot.
