This is a show-stopping Tuscan villa is in the heart of Santa Monica. It’s just a ten-minute walk in either direction to the beach or downtown. But the truth is, you may never want to leave as this place was designed for entertaining. The entire, high-ceilinged basement level is dedicated to hedonism, with a cocktail bar, wine vaults and home theatre. A gym and steam room mean you can keep up your exercise schedule between indulgences. There are plenty more places for the group to spread out – in the grand lounge by the fireplace, in the sunny reading room in the garden, or the family snug around the TV. If work calls, there’s an executive-style study with everything you need in a personal office, and there’s even a separate study space for kids with computers, a blackboard and a writing desk. The home’s courtyard is a fabulous set-up up, with a heated salt-water swimming pool at its centre and loads of seating space to enjoy a tipple or full meal outside.
