As soon as we stepped through the door, we instantly felt at ease in this home – its modern country style, neutral tones and thoughtful presentation make it cosy and welcoming. We loved the quaint, whitewashed courtyard with bistro seating – a great spot for an evening meal in the summer or leisurely breakfasts in the early morning. Both bedrooms overlook the patio so they are quiet and calm – you can guarantee a restful sleep night after night. The location is also ideal, right in the heart of Notting Hill and within a ten-minute walk of High Street Kensington. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to places to eat and drink – especially given your enviable position between two fantastic pubs. For picnics and quiet afternoons, Hyde Park is ten minutes away, while Notting Hill Gate tube station is just three minutes around the corner should you fancy a trip into central London.

Only one set of keys is available, but there is a key safe outside so all guests should be able to access the home
Watch your head when entering the flat, as there's a low beam measuring around 185cm – the kitchen also has a low ceiling of around 190cm
This is an old house so the layout is slightly unusual – the kitchen and dining spaces are very narrow, while the master bed has to be accessed from the feet end, as two columns block access to the sides
Some traffic noise can be heard in the living room
You will be provided with high-quality bed linens, a bath mat, bath towels and tea towels for the kitchen. Your host also provides shampoo, shower gel, and toilet paper at the beginning of your stay, but not throughout.

Filled with mews streets, stucco mansions and green spaces, Holland Park is an idyllic neighbourhood sandwiched between Notting Hill, Kensington and Shepherd's Bush. Holland Park itself is one of London's most picturesque green spaces with a rich history. Today, the park boasts an open-air theatre and opera, Japanese-style Kyoto Gardens and a family playground. For dining, try Julie's and The Belvedere, and for a refreshing pint or aperol spritz, the Mitre and The Ladbroke Arms are a couple of great, classic British pubs in the area.
