This is a beautiful family home in a quiet, residential location that's perfect for those with younger children who are looking to explore the city without being caught up in the crowds of people and excited tourists. Situated only a twelve-minute stroll from Wandsworth Common, so you can enjoy a family frisbee-throwing picnic in a very peaceful spot in between all of the sightseeing. You can also walk to Balham or the Northcote Road in less than half an hour, which both have a plethora of lovely cafes and restaurants. The home itself is impeccably stylish, with an effortless blend of luxury and comfort, and you can immediately sense your host’s great eye for interior design and detail. We especially loved the extensive art collection, which adds a unique character and personality to every room, while the colour-coded book collection is equally praiseworthy. Gather around the cosy wood-burning stove with a glass of red, prepare a homemade meal in the modern country-style kitchen or sprawl out into the garden for some quality time with the kids. Speaking of smaller guests, they'll be well entertained here, with a pink playroom, teepee and heaps of toys to play with. Those a little older can practise their melodies on the grand piano, as you enjoy a relaxing soak in the roll-top bath upstairs, knowing everyone's happy and catered for.

It's a ten-minute walk to the nearest train station, which might be a bit tricky if you are carrying luggage
The bedroom with the small, single teepee-style bed is only suitable for children
One of the beds is a cot, so one guest would have to be a baby
Set over four floors, there are a lot of stairs in the home, which might not be suitable for those with limited mobility
