Top 20 Østerbro, Copenhagen vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Østerbro is the place to be if you are looking for some peace and quiet from Copenhagen’s bustling city centre. It’s affluent and classy, but still has that down-to-earth feel that exists throughout most of Copenhagen, and it’s especially popular with families who like to buy organic cinnamon rolls from one of the many artisan bakeries and go for walks in Fælledparken. Parken, the home of the Danish national football team is also on Østerbro, and when it’s not used to represent the red-whites, it’s the home ground of FC Copenhagen. Østerbro is also known for its architecture that’s just a tad fancier than the rest of Copenhagen, so expect to see some extravagant buildings with swanky details, old and new. While most of Copenhagen’s city centre is walkable, Østerbro covers a larger area, so hop on a bike or catch the S-train that connects Østerbro to the other boroughs, Copenhagen’s city centre as well as Svanemøllen Strand – a popular weekend destination for many locals.
