Nestled in the beautiful maritime surroundings of Poole Quay, this home is a real gem in a corner of England that is often overlooked for popular seaside destinations such as Cornwall and Devon. Situated on the fourth floor, this stylish apartment boasts stunning 180° panoramic views over Visitors Marina, Brownsea Island and Purbecks beyond. Whether you're watching the sunrise or waiting for it to set, you'll absolutely love spending time on the balcony here. Make yourself a cream tea and a cuppa and watch the boats come in and out of the quay. Take in the sound of seagulls passing by and feel the sea breeze on your skin.

One of the best things about this home is its proximity to southeast beaches. Sandbanks is the pick of the bunch, and it only takes sixteen-minutes by car. When you're feeling hungry, there are a lot of great places to discover within walking distance. Take a four-minute scenic stroll along the harbour to Quayside, where you'll find a variety of restaurants, pubs and wine bars. You can't come here and not sample the fish & chips either! We recommend the fourteen-minute walk to Lakeside Fish & Chips for some hearty, traditional grub.

Dolphin of The South

Where do we start with this home – both the apartment and the location are excellent. Firstly, it’s just a 50-metre stroll across West Cliff Green to the beach steps making this the perfect base for a family-friendly holiday by the sea. There are an array of restaurants and bars within walking distance whilst Bournemouth Pier and the town centre are also accessible by foot. We love the sea views from this place’s private garden and who wouldn’t want to dine or relax in the light-filled conservatory? If you’re a group of eight, then two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living space, but it’s a spacious room. What a great find this is.

Dorset Paradise

Relaxed and comfortable, this Poole home makes a fuss-free base for a Dorset adventure. It's spread over three levels, and the top-floor suite boasts views across the harbour to Brownsea Island – imagine waking up to that each morning. Downstairs, the kitchen has all you need to rustle up the catch of the day while the electric fire keeps things cosy on chilly evenings. Come summertime, the private patio is the perfect spot for dinner and drinks in the sunshine. Location-wise, Poole Quay and the docks are just a short walk away. Further afield, yet within easy reach by car, are Bournemouth and Sandbanks Beach.

Golden Quay

If you’ve been dreaming of a classic countryside escape, look no further than this 16th-century, Grade II listed cottage. Set within the Cranbone AONB, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful countryside, while the nearest pub and farm shop in Winterborne Whitechurch are just a short walk away. It’s also a great base for exploring the Dorset coast – Weymouth and Lyme Regis are within easy driving distance. Back at home, there’s a peaceful garden, an outdoor pizza oven, cosy rooms, wood burning stoves and plenty of traditional character. 


A Timeless Place

A short stroll from Swanage Beachfront, this home is an excellent choice for family gatherings. The location is perfect for exploring on foot – pubs, eateries, shops, and seaside walks are within easy reach. Back home, you'll find five comfortable bedrooms, though some have limited headroom due to sloped ceilings. The bathrooms are also a tad snug for taller guests. That said, there's a bright first-floor living area where everyone can chill out together, as well as a ground-floor main suite with its own small patio. Two pups are also welcome to tag along – now that's coastal fun for the whole family.

A Song for All Seas

Take your stay in Poole Quay up a notch at this penthouse with sweeping harbour views. While there’s a light-filled snug upstairs, the real highlight is the main living and dining area downstairs, opening onto a private sun deck that makes the most of the coastal vistas. If we were being fussy, some of the artwork may not be to everyone’s taste. But it’s a small detail in an otherwise outstanding home. Location-wise, Poole Quays’ harbour and high street are just moments from your door, and private parking is ready for trips along the Dorset Coast or into the New Forest.

Harbour View Place

This attractive apartment is located directly on Poole Quay, with stunning views of the harbour. The apartment is modern and sleek, with everything you might need for a laid-back harbourside stay. We love the private terrace, which overlooks the Sea Music sculpture and is a wonderful spot for watching the boats coming and going from the harbour. The sandy beaches of Sandbanks and Branksome are a fifteen-minute drive, and Sandbanks can also be reached by boat. 

Quay Views

With plenty of space to spread out, this ground-floor apartment in an Edwardian home near Westbourne is a fantastic base to return to after a day at the beach. Having a private entrance and garden ensures you have all the privacy you need here, plus private parking is a real premium in this area during the summer months. Although there's room for six, we think the main bedroom is better suited to two adults and two children, while the second bedroom is ideal if you're travelling with another couple. When it's time to explore, you'll find the beautiful sandy beach of Alum Chine just 350 metres away, whilst a 15-minute walk will get you to the eclectic mix of boutiques, cafes and bars of Westbourne and its beautiful Victorian arcade.

Escape To The Sands

This home is the perfect base for a family or group of friends looking to enjoy luxury, privacy and the beautiful coast on a Dorset holiday. Stroll through the garden, set on just under an acre of tree-lined land, where you’ll have your choice of long days spent poolside and lazy lunches prepared with ease on the barbecue. We absolutely love the dynamic bi-fold doors that seamlessly connect the dreamy garden to the dining and living rooms – enjoy the greenery with a breakfast spread and fresh air, or settle on the couch with an afternoon read as the rest of the family enjoys the pool, hot tub and lawn. The kitchen is large, complete with a marble island that makes your culinary vision easy to execute, and on chillier nights, shut the doors and turn the fireplace up as you snuggle in for movie night. Finally, end your days with a lush soak in the oval tub. The bedrooms are neutral-toned and welcoming, ideal for restful nights of sleep. And when it’s time to explore, Canford Cliffs is a thirteen-minute drive away, while you can be on the sandy beach with just a five-minute drive or eighteen-minute walk.

Experience lakeside living in this stunning luxury holiday home located on a private estate in a nature reserve in Dorset. Set right on the water's edge, you’ll have wonderful views from the garden, balcony and from inside too. The sunlit expansive open-plan living area is a great place to watch the sunset. Or you can take advantage of the extensive range of communal facilities. There’s a heated infinity pool, a spa, a gym, and a rooftop bar. On top of all this, there's a tennis court, table tennis, cycling trails, woodland walks, and a lakeside beach. If you ever get time to explore the surrounding area, then the Jurassic Coast is also a short drive away.

In the vibrant coastal city of Bournemouth, you won’t just be keeping yourself busy with watersports and sunbathing, but galleries, theatres, and historic churches. Forget about beach life for a second and head further up into town, where you’ll find this luxurious flat just ten minutes from Bournemouth train station on foot. In an Edwardian building, this refurbished home is a distinguished and elegant base for exploring the delights of Dorset. We love the fabulous living space – antique and vintage furniture meets modern, industrial pieces in this eclectic room. The brick fireplace features a funky mirror in its hearth, the Ziegler rug plays host to a mid-century leather Barcelona chair and footstool, the white Chesterfield sofa and regency chaise longue are perfect for relaxing, and the reflection of the black wire chandelier can be seen in the ornate gilded mirror. You’re sure to be charmed by this home of sophisticated and exquisite contrasts. On a sunny morning, wake up to light from the huge, bay windows and head out for a wander. You’ll hit the beach in under thirty minutes, but we recommend taking the long way through town to discover cool local shops and great restaurants on Charminster Road. Further afield, the scenic New Forest is half an hour away in the car, and the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula can be reached in twenty.
